Unseren Aufenthalt kann ich nur so beschreiben: A home away from home- es hat sich so angefühlt wie ein Zuhause weg von Zuhause. Wir sind mit einem Dackel-Terrier-Mix unterwegs und auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen und hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Cottage ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber, gepflegt und komplett ausgestattet. Es gibt zudem etliche kleine Extras wie bspw. Wander-/Ausflugsvorschläge, Bücher, Spiele, DVDs, ...
Parken ist dank eigener Parkkarte kostenlos am großen Parkplatz möglich.
Die Kommunikation (zu Check-in/Schlüssel usw.) mit den Gastgebern war unkompliziert, klar und verständlich.
Die Lage ist gut und angenehm ruhig (Meerblick von der obersten Etage inkl.), denn das Cottage ist etwas hinein in die kleinen Gässchen und damit weg von den Hauptwegen, auf denen sich besonders die Tagestouristen bewegen.
Die Geschirrspülmaschine hat nicht zu 100 % funktioniert und braucht vermutlich eine Wartung.

Happiest holiday we’ve possibly ever had. Perfect cottage only minutes from the sea - and truly dog friendly like it promises. A proper home, rather than just a holiday rental. We were a couple (plus dog) but the cottage would have been perfect for a larger group too - spacious living/dining area plus three generous bedrooms and two very good bathrooms. Lesley was fantastic at communications and Robin Hood’s Bay in general was heaven. Will definitely be back!
The wifi was a little patchy at times - I don’t think you’d notice normally but my husband was working remotely and needed it fairly frequently, so only mentioning it in case anyone else is going in a similar way.
