This apartment was gorgeous, tastefully decorated, well-located, and a great value for the money. It is located in a classic small Italian courtyard building right between the centroistorico and the Stazione Centrale, and also near Novi Park. So it's an excellent location either for taking the train in or for driving in. Rooms were large, and the classic kitchen was very functional and well-stocked with utensils. Lots of nice antiques & prints. It clearly is an actual home that is rented out from time to time, rather than one of the many cynical "quick flip" places that have infested the industry. It is perfect for a family or a group. I would likely book again if it was available.
The front door access is only managed through the Ring app, and I was told an actual key was not available (door is at least 75 years old). So I would not recommend the apartment to international travelerw if you have an unreliable eSIM or if you were planning on traveling without a reliable international data plan. Both people in our party fit one of these categories and this created a lot of worry. They did eventually say they would try to find us a spare, but we really didn't want to risk being left out on the street, so we had to spend a lot of unplanned time and money to get my elderly father an international data plan (his phone does not support eSIM and he needed to keep access to his main number, so we couldn't just swap in an Italian SIM). A headache, especially for older people. This was the only really major problem. A smaller but annoying one was that a drying rack was not available, so we had to get pretty clever doing laundry. Manager insisted it was in the bathroom even after I told them it was not. By the time they offered to send someone to find it in the inaccessible closet, the trip was almost over. Washing machine is finnicky and required an extra spin cycle (there is a setting for this but the whole process took quite a while for both cycles). Also, some of the responses are managed by AI, so you're never sure if the management group has actually seen the message.

Casa molto accogliente, ricca di dettagli che hanno reso tutto molto familiare.

Cucina dotata anche di caffè!
Il condizionatore della camera doppia non funzionava. Essendo l'appartamento nel sottotetto, il fresco era necessario per dormire. Con il condizionatore della cucina abbiamo risolto.
Sarebbe più utile avere la doccia nel bagno piccolo e la vasca nel grande e non entrambe nel grande.
Un rotolo di carta igienica in 3 per due giorni ci è sembrato poco, ma anche lì ce la siamo cavata!
