This is not your usual hotel; this is a rare and incredible opportunity to step into the magnificence and magic of Japan’s Showa era. Hatoya Hotel is a time capsule with a fascinating origin and history. If you’re looking to stay at a glossy, modern hotel, this isn’t for you. Its quirkiness is what makes it so charming. The onsen is incredible, the games room is so much fun, and don’t even get me started on how beautiful Bar Hana is. I’m obsessed with Hatoya Hotel.
To me, everything about this hotel is perfect. Except maybe the dripping from the AC, maybe get that fixed. But otherwise, no notes.
