It was cute, cosy and had a great outlook especially at night looking over to the Tauranga lights. Would be great in summer sitting out at the table looking across the water
We came home and it was dark and the last light at the top of the stairs leading down to the studio didn't come on but it did when we went out. I had noticed going out the height of the last step otherwise it could be a hazard.

Good location, easy to get around. Clean, with good bathroom. View was nice. Fine for a night of two.
Pillows were really sad, nothing like what I expect for a hotel/airbnb. When I asked if there was anyway to get another pillow I was given a fluffy couch cushion. Not something I would sleep on. No mirror in the unit, just a small shaving mirror with no surface tall enough to sit it on. As someone traveling being able to see what an outfit looks like is pretty basic.
No curtains on one window, so sun comes streaming in early.
No toaster or microwave, which is a bummer.
