Great location near the lake, kora, nice cafeteria and walking distance to the Guru Rinpoche statue.
Nitin is great owner who really have good sense for maintaining the all necessities for visitors.

After a bad hostel experience this home stay really rehabilitated Indian hospitality to my eyes. Nitin provided me with transport to and from the location, and made sure I had everything i needed. The room has a kitchenette with fridge and a toilet all very well maintained and clean. I opted for the room with balcony so I could read and meditate looking directly at the lake and golden Buddha. There is no heavy traffic so the air is filled with the sound of birds and of music from feasts and mantras from temples!
The property is a bit up hill so if you forgot any grocery item it takes some stairs to get to the first shop. It is clearly not fault of the property but in the night the dogs of the town bark non stop, making it hard to get a full sleep.
