Do not trust this property for important or peak-season stays. Choose one with proven check-ins.
We were utterly frustrated and got absolutely nothing from this booking. Despite taking precious work leave in advance, the property handler's complete unresponsiveness held us hostage, forcing a deeply inconvenient cancellation.
Everything. Azure Place Maui 8th Floor is not recommended due to an unresponsive host and a stressful booking experience. The handling of communication and confirmation raised serious trust and safety concerns for the stay.
Booking And Communication Issues
The unit was booked more than a week in advance at a good rate during a holiday period, but the host did not respond to SMS, email, or Booking.com messages at all.
Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no confirmation or clear instruction for check-in, leaving the stay in doubt up to the last minute.
Cancellation Experience
Because the host remained unresponsive past the expected time, a cancellation had to be requested through Booking.com at the last minute.
Due to the booking already being within the non-cancellation window, the process is now taking longer than usual and has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Concerns About How The Property Is Run
The behavior of the handler of this property suggests they may be deliberately holding the unit and waiting for guests to cancel, especially when there are walk-in or desperate customers at the gate willing to pay a higher price for urgent bookings.
Given this experience and similar complaints about failed check-ins and blocked access at Azure properties shared online, this property feels unsafe to trust for important stays.
