Not much this time around

This is the third time staying at this property due to its location. However, this time we have checked out after one night instead of staying a second and third night. The reception staff are not trained properly and do not understand the room rates in booking.com. When you arrive you feel guilty instead of being made to feel welcome. We did arrive late, after midnight, but it did send notification of our intended arrival which was not acknowledged. We did not like the room offered as the window opens to a huge concrete wall only one metre away. We were showed another room which smelled very badly of smoke but then they said this is a suite room and you have to pay 1000/- rupees £10 - more. I said but in booking.com this room is only £1 more. He did not understand and said you have to pay. Eventually he showed us a twin bed room which was a deluxe room. Less in price than the one we paid for. But we took that as by now after going up and down the lift looking at rooms it was 1.30am. The room was very clean and sheets clean. Twin bed quite narrow and hard. The problem is the bathroom. There is an open shower and the water fills the bathroom. The floor is very very slippery and could cause a major accident. I asked for an extra towel so I could place it in the floor as I knew from past experience what the floor would be like. The breakfast was very disappointing. Very limited and they did not want to make me hot eggs, that is fried or scrambled and blamed the Iran/US war and said there was limited gas supply. They did eventually offer an omelette but it was very average. The food for breakfast is from extreme cheap products and you feel very disappointed. We will not stay again.
