Relaxing, well equipped spot with a great host

The host, Giulia, couldn’t have been more helpful right from the time of booking, and then during my stay right up until departure. The flat has plenty of space, with an extremely comfortable bed equipped with excellent pillows. Bathroom was well appointed and the rainfall shower head is always great. A washing machine was something I’d forgotten the pace had so was delighted to see one, and in combination with the very effective heating my laundry was washed and dried in no time. If you wish to self cater there’s plenty of saucepans and crockery, although I ate out during my visit. Giulia’s recommendations for eateries were also terrific - I didn’t get to all of them but those I did were great. 10-15 minute walk back to the station/town centre which is about perfect for me as things are a bit quieter. The walk back up the hill from town also came in handy after large meals - bear in mind it is quite a steep ascent in one section. The main road out of town (road number SS38 and then along via dei Castelli) is a more gentle climb than the direct Google Maps suggestion if you’re worried. And also wider if you’re in a vehicle, the Google suggestion will take you through some very narrow sections that may prove challenging. All in all, a splendid place in a splendid part of the world with an awesome host. Would strongly recommend it to anyone considering booking.

If I’m being very picky, a kettle would be a great addition to the kitchen. There was a coffee machine but I’m not a coffee drinker. A fine range of teas was provided, and using a saucepan to boil water was no problem, I’m probably just a bit lazy.

The best place in Tirano for a quiet and relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at Giulia’s apartment! She is the most wonderful host, very friendly and open. She was easy to reach whenever we needed something and was also contacting us to check if she need to provide anything for us. The flat was extremely clean and neat, we loved the location as it was quiet, peaceful but also not very far away from the Tirano centre. Highly recommend staying here!
