Our stay at La Rotonda Sul Mare was one of the highlights of our Italy trip.
The location is beautiful—right by the sea with a wonderful sun deck where we loved relaxing and taking in the views. Breakfast overlooking the water quickly became one of our favorite daily rituals.
The accommodations were very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and well cared for, and we especially appreciated the good water pressure after long days exploring Ischia.
What made this stay truly special, however, was the hospitality. Amerigo and the entire staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. Amerigo went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—generously giving us rides when needed, sharing his knowledge and love of Ischia, and even lending our son beach toys so he could fully enjoy the beach.
La Rotonda Sul Mare was also wonderful for traveling with children. Our son felt welcome and comfortable, and the relaxed atmosphere, beach access, and kindness of the staff made family travel easy and enjoyable.
The meals were delicious and the atmosphere felt warm and personal. We left with wonderful memories and felt less like guests and more like friends.
Highly recommend and would happily return.

We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious and well served. The sun deck over the water was perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We would love to stay there again.

This was our second time visiting Forio and we were so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing and the sun deck is great for watching evening sunsets. The family are welcoming hosts who do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. We can’t wait until our next visit.

The perfect location, the hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived

The private decking area with direct access to the sea is perfect for swimming & sunbathing offering a relaxing & picturesque setting.
