The room was well-furnished in a mid-century modern style, which suited the age it was built. Unfortunately, we did not have an ocean view (because we didn't want to pay the extra 100 dollars!) so it was difficult, at first to get any sort of breeze in the room without exposing ourselves to everyone who walked by. (There is no air conditioning.) And with the windows open there is a lot of road noise from highway 1/101! It did quiet down significantly at night. The location is fantastic as you can walk right out onto the beach and there seemed to be plenty of chairs on the porch to enjoy the view of the ocean.

Nice to be on the beach. If you want a good view from your room, you might want to call and ask for a specific room. One end doesn't have the view.

Great location on the beach with straight access to beach combing and star gazing. Funky retro place with a comfortable bed and good free coffee, sodas, and snacks.
