This charming coastal retreat features an open-concept layout with a stylish island kitchen, updated with modern appliances and plenty of space for cooking and gathering. The home is tastefully decorated with breezy, beach-inspired touches and filled with natural light. With two cozy bedrooms, a renovated bathroom, and direct beach access, this home offers everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay by the sea. * Quiet hours 9 pm-9 am.
* No Pets Allowed
* Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Service days have the possibility of changing.
* A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
* This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.
* For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.
* Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax
* Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please reach out 1 2 days prior to check-in to inquire about pricing and availability.
* Our homes/units may be rented either together or separately. Because of this, other guests may be staying nearby during your visit. Please be respectful and considerate of others on the property.
Please Note: Upon booking, guests are required to complete a rental agreement, which will be sent via a secure link. Check-in instructions will only be provided after the agreement is completed. Nearby Construction There is ongoing construction taking place near the property during daytime hours. While we do not have control over the schedule or scope of the work, some noise may be heard during your stay particularly in the mornings. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Please note our policy for items left behind: we are happy to help return items left behind; however, due to logistics and the time required for our team to retrieve and drop off packages, a $25 handling fee plus the cost of shipping will be applied to any items sent back.
We d much rather you have your belongings with you! Thank you for doing a final of the home before you depart.

Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. Beautiful place - the constant flow of pelicans gliding by made the view of rolling waves even more special. The deck is spacious! Reading with the of sound of the ocean is my idea of a perfect vacation. I’d love to own a place like this for my weekends; until then, living here for a week helped make my ‘retirement’ trip the perfect getaway.

This was a fantastic place for a quick getaway. I wanted to stay longer. The west end of Galveston is so calm and peaceful. The home is ideally situated (if you like a little distance between the more touristy parts) and has a lovely view. The house is well cared for and makes a wonderful place to stay for a small group (4), couple, or solo traveler.

Cute, quaint, and clean This house is perfect for a small group getaway. Sitting on the porch in the elevated rockers was our favorite part of the day! The kitchen is fabulous as well as functional for a quick breakfast before touring. The addition of a Keurig would be a plus, but we made the coffee maker work for us.

The house was solid, cute decor, close to the beach. The view was perfect! There were 5 of us. Two adults, a 10, 9 and 5 year old. It was a little small for us. One bathroom was kind of hard at times for the kids. But we made it work. I would definitely say 4 adults would be max on comfort. We brought a cot for the 5 year old. Not until we left did we realize the couch had a hide a bed in it. We have stayed at about 10 different houses over the years. Two of them were within a mile to even 5 houses down from the Purple Pelican. I leave completely honest reviews. That's what I would want. There are a few negatives - there wasn't a can opener, pot holders or even full size mixing bowls. The cookware was amazing though! There needs to be a vent in the bathroom. Looks like one is there but it doesn't work. The bathtub is slippery. My 5 yr old fell twice the first night. The big coffee maker doesn't work but the little one is great. Biggest complaint - the beds. They are hard as a rock. Along with the couch. Maybe some pillow toppers would be great? Our 9 yr old even woke up saying he felt beat up. But the house itself is good. Just bring your own kitchen stuff. And be prepared to hurt. The chairs outside are the best seat in the house. Oh and maybe a mop left behind would be great. There isnt one. Last thing enjoy the water but watch that current. It changed everyday. Thanks for the house. :)
