Overall, as advertised and very close to HVNP. The only downside I can think of was that the property was on the cold side and the electric "fireplace" did not put out enough heat to keep the room warm. Fortunately, there was an abundance of blankets which made life more comfortable.

This house is roomy, quiet and comfortable. The hot tub came in handy after a long day of hiking. We ate our meals in. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you would need.

The property was very nice and we had a lovely one-night stay When we arrived after the check-in time, the housekeeper was running a bit behind but was very gracious in allowing us to load our belongings into the house while they were still cleaning/making the beds There were a few minor repairs needed on the property (a cabinet handle in the bathroom fell off and the mirror doors in the master bedroom need some upgrades with the door tracks, but very MINOR things (just things that need a little TLC) We absolutely LOVED THE HOTTUB, and you definitely feel like you are “floating” in the jungle with all the beautiful hapu ferns and Ohia trees surrounding this unique and lovely home Thank you sooo much for hosting us!!!

We wish we had known that the only potable water was in a cooler system. It was a bit awkward. Also, the house could use a thorough cleaning. Loved the location and having the hot tub for those cool rainy days.
