This serene countryside escape is a short drive or Metro ride from the many attractions of Washington D.C., and near Sugarloaf Mountain, the Royce Hanson Conservation Park, the C&O Canal, and the Potomac River. Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and the wineries, casual and fine dining, golf, and the local arts of Poolesville, MD., delight in nearby Lewis Orchards and Homestead Farm, and plan to tour the Countryside Artisans Studios. Garage, one small room and two closets reserved by owner. **Please note that with the closing of White’s Ferry, the drive to Leesburg is about 45 mins. through scenic Point of Rocks.

Me and my family couldn’t be more pleased. It truly felt homey. Our host was so sweet and kind and the property was so accommodating. It was such a nice stay.

This is a lovely cottage! The setting is serene and beautiful. The host was quick to respond and answer questions. It is wonderfully decorated n felt comfortable just like home. It was relaxing n just what we needed. We plan on returning. It's just an excellent choice for us.

Beautiful house and property. Loved watching the birds, squirrels, and deer. A very comfortable place to stay, with everything you need to feel at home. Thanks for letting our fur babies stay with us too! They loved it as much as we did. We will all be back soon! Thanks, Letty and Kim, for being such great hosts!
