The location was absolutely excellent. The property is just outside Kraków's Old Town and within a few minutes' walk of the main sights, cafés and restaurants. Lime scooters were also readily available nearby, and Kraków's main railway station was around a 15-minute walk away. The price was very good for the location, and overall the studio provided a convenient base for exploring the city.
There were several things that could be improved. The fridge was extremely noisy and, even on its lowest setting, froze my bottled water. I eventually had to unplug it because of the noise. For a seven-night stay, only one hand towel and one bath towel were provided, and there was no bath mat, meaning the bathroom floor became wet after showering. A tea towel for drying dishes would also have been useful.
The bed was made up of three cushions pushed together rather than a conventional mattress, which I found quite uncomfortable.
Communication from the host was also quite late. I received the first message less than two hours before check-in, which was rather anxiety-inducing when travelling in a foreign country and not speaking the language.
The biggest issue, however, was noise from a neighbouring apartment over the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday nights, very loud music was played, sometimes at such a volume that it was actually distorting. The volume repeatedly went up and down and continued until around 23:45, before starting again at approximately 07:45 the following morning. I appreciate that the owner cannot necessarily control the behaviour of a neighbour, but it did significantly affect my stay.
