Disappointing experience — the property did not meet the standard expected for the price.

The location was convenient, and the house itself was spacious with plenty of room for our family. The property has good potential and offers many amenities.

Unfortunately, the property did not meet the standard we expected for the price we paid ($2,064). The house was not properly prepared or cleaned before our arrival. There were ants throughout the kitchen and even insects inside the refrigerator. The outdoor BBQ/patio area, tables and other surfaces were dirty, and we had to clean them ourselves despite paying a cleaning fee. The dryer lint filter was extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. There was also a serious wasp problem around the outdoor area, which made it very difficult to comfortably sit outside and enjoy meals. The propane lasted only about one day. We reported the problem and were initially told the tanks would be replaced, but this did not happen. We ultimately had to spend our own vacation time driving to a store and purchasing propane ourselves. Communication was also very slow. When we had no internet after arrival, we waited approximately two hours for a response, and other important messages were answered many hours later. There was also broken glass in one of the bedroom windows, which we documented and reported. For a property in this price range, these issues are unacceptable. Instead of simply enjoying our vacation, we spent our time cleaning, dealing with insects, waiting for responses and resolving problems that should have been addressed before our arrival. We have photographs documenting all of these issues. Very disappointing experience considering the price we paid.

I feel like this property is falsely advertised

The add made it look much nicer than it was. The house is run down and needs a lot of work. Windows are broken, tv is broken, toilet is broken, sheets and dishes were dirty and it’s off of a steep not maintained gravel road.
