Excellent location, easy walk into the town center. The gentleman who runs the accommodation was very helpful and quick to respond to any need or question. The area is quiet and we slept well. It may have been our misunderstanding, but the bathroom is not attached. Instead of is a few steps thru a kitchen area. Still, we felt it was very private and was not a space the family used. Also, the listing says washing machine, however when we checked in, we were told it was not working. After several days traveling, we were really looking forward to washing some clothes so that was rather disappointing. Still, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We would stay again and wish the family the best.

The location is great, just a few minutes from the bus station.
The room was really nice and clean.
The owner is an absolute gem of a human being who helped us out with booking tuk-tuks, giving recommendations and just generally anything he could.
I highly recommend getting the breakfast if you stay, it's one of our absolute favorite meals we've had for 2 weeks in Sri Lanka.
Personal preference but I did find the bed to be a tiny bit too hard but that's just me.

The owner was very kind and wanted us to feel cared for at all times. Bed was comfortable and there was also hot water! The project is still in the making and we think in a few years it can be a really nice gem in Hatton! we would definitely come again!
Unfortunately the fridge was broken and the view out of our windows was a little odd..
