Very disappointing experience

We were supposed to receive the check-in instructions at 16:00. Nothing arrived. We tried calling the property several times and sent messages, but received no response. Only after around 40 minutes did someone finally answer the phone. Instead of apologising or helping, we were told that they had many guests arriving and were busy. Eventually, we received the instructions for collecting the keys. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the problems. When we entered the apartment, it was obvious that it had not been cleaned after the previous guests at all. There were dirty towels, dirty bed sheets, rubbish left behind and hair in the bathroom. The overall condition was simply disgusting. We tried contacting the property again. After many attempts, someone finally answered and told us that maybe someone would come to clean, maybe not, because the cleaning staff had already finished their shift. They also couldn't tell us when anyone would arrive. The attitude during the phone calls was extremely unhelpful and unnecessarily rude. Eventually, a cleaner did arrive and clean the apartment, but we had already spent a significant part of our arrival dealing with something that should never have happened in the first place. Overall, this was a very poor experience. The lack of communication, the extremely poor customer service and, above all, handing over an apartment that had clearly not been cleaned at all are simply unacceptable. We would definitely not stay here again.
