Levensgevaarlijke agressieve hond !
Moeilijk om een positieve review over dit vakantieverblijf te schrijven vermits op het terrein een zeer agressieve Duitse herdershond vrij rond loopt en mensen aanvalt en bijt.
We hadden hier geboekt, maar in tegenstelling tot wat beschreven werd, kregen we geen code om het appartement binnen te kunnen, ook niet na herhaalde berichten, telefoontjes, whatsappjes, ingesproken voicemais... De vakantieverblijven zitten in hetzelfde gebouw als de woning van de eigenaar/boer, dus gingen we na een tijdje op zoek naar iemand die ons kon binnen laten. Toen ik de hoek van het gebouw om ging, stormde een Duitse herdershond blaffend op mij af en beet onmiddellijk in mijn been, met diepe bloedende vieze wonden tot gevolg (en ik heb dagenlang gemankt en moet de wonden nog steeds verzorgen - het ziet er voorlopig niet best uit, dus ik hoop dat het uiteindelijk goed komt, maar zal er waarschijnlijk wel littekens aan over houden). Hij heeft ook geprobeerd in mijn armen te bijten, maar die kon ik gelukkig snel weg trekken.
Pas toen ik gilde, verscheen de boer en riep zijn hond terug, maar het kwaad was al geschied. De boer heeft zich nooit verontschuldigd voor de aanval van zijn hond. Hij zei alleen maar "Nou ja, het is zijn terrein". Als je vakantieverblijven verhuurt aan je eigen woning en bovendien een agressieve hond hebt, dan zorg je er voor dat je jouw hond altijd (!) in een kooi opsluit of aan de ketting legt.
Ik mag er niet aan denken als de kinderen mee zouden geweest zijn en die op het erf zouden rennen of naar de dieren in de weide willen kijken... Dan zou dit dramatisch afgelopen zijn, met verminkte kinderen, of waren ze misschien dood gebeten. Om nog te zwijgen over de paniek en doodsangsten die ze zouden doorstaan moeten hebben.
En wat ik tussen de regels door begrepen heb van de boer, en ook van zijn dochter, is dat dit niet de eerste keer was dat hun hond mensen aangevallen en gebeten heeft.
Dus, blijf hier ver weg, en al zeker met kinderen!
