Great hut in the jungle. Good facilities, nice cold bath. Awesome host offering breakfast. We loved our great guardian, the dog.

Cute cabana in the forest with plunge pool at the front.
No top sheet or quilt on the bed. No instructions to get hot water for the shower. Switch is outside the bathroom. Very slow shower and bad draining. Had to walk down 300 metres down steep track to get to accommodation.

We stayed in this accommodation during our trip in Sri Lanka and had a mixed but memorable experience.
The biggest highlight is definitely the location — it is truly away from the crowds and offers a real jungle experience. The cabana is very cute and the pool area is lovely, making it a peaceful place to relax in nature. Do keep in mind that being in the jungle also means many animals in and around your cabana, which comes with quite a bit of noise at night. Completely understandable for the setting, but something you need to be comfortable with.
Breakfast was good and freshly prepared.
Overall, a charming stay for travelers looking for a quiet jungle escape, as long as you don’t expect hotel-level facilities and are happy to trade some comfort for a unique, off-the-beaten-path experience.
There were a few practical issues during our stay. Our room was not serviced, there was not enough toilet paper, the shower was cold, and hand towels and a bath mat were missing. There is also no food or drinks available on-site and no drinking water provided in the room. That said, the manager is very kind and willing to help — he happily arranged tuk-tuk rides (about 20 minutes to the center) and even offered to pick up items by motorbike when needed.

Amazing location, in perfect harmony with nature.
The breakfast was quite simple, but considering the location in the middle of the jungle still prepared with meticulous detail.
