Breathe deep and exhale with composure as you step into the perfect serenity of the original 'La Casita,' a Rustic South-West Cabin offering warmth and cozy, romantic mountain-night ambiance!
Upon entry into this lovely home you will walk into our open concept living room with two twin sized sofas, a rock gas fireplace, flat screen TV, Full bath complete with a shower/tub combo, and the well placed, well stocked kitchen featuring clean spacious counter tops, dishwasher, gas stove and refrigerator. The Master bedroom ensuite houses a Queen sized bed, and has access it's very own 3/4 bathroom. The guest bedroom also features a queen sized bed and has access to the laundry room and the full bathroom located next to the kitchen. This home is complete with Fiber Optic Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV DVD/VCR so when you want to kick back and enjoy your evenings after a fun filled day then you have the amenities to do so... Or, Step out onto the covered ever-so inviting South facing covered porch looking towards the Red River Ski Area's "Face" and West High St. where you can sit and take in the Red River Valley's fresh mountain breezes while drinking coffee/tea/hot cocoa and listening to the gentle calls, whistles and whispers of the nature that surrounds you or the endless giggles coming from the little ones as they chase one another around the yard; or let your group takes turns telling trail tales and stories around the charcoal grill!
Our cabin offers plenty of parking for multiple vehicles/trailers/toys.

Our multi-day stay at La Casita in Red River, NM was a great experience. The location was about as good as it gets with only a short walk to shops or a quick drive with lots of available parking. There is much to do along the one-mile route of the town, from horse-back riding to a ski lift ride to the top of the slopes with food available at the top.The Red River runs next to a hiking trail and the shops were first rate. We particularly enjoyed the newly opened "Wellness Center" with a special drink that took away all symptoms of "altitude" issues without having to wait a few days to acclimate. La Casita itself was a wonderful place to stay, clean and well maintained with highspeed Internet and smart TV. Aside from the convenience, the house was in a very quiet neighborhood that made for a peaceful night of sleeping. The owner and the property management were available if needed. Highly recommend!

We loved this little cabin! So many deer in the backyard, they would come up and eat from us feeding them. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Very cozy and great location. Had everything that we needed. Big space for our trailer and our side byside. Communication with host was always fast and easy. Will book here again next time we come back!
