In the ancient mountain village of Montalto Carpasio, built with its characteristic dry-stone walls, stands this charming traditional stone house, which retains its 19th-century charm. The small, cozy rooms, furnished with period furniture and antiques, face southeast toward the valley and the woods, offering authentic views and a timeless atmosphere. The house is spread over two levels: on the first floor, there is a living room with a sleeper sofa, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine; on the first floor, a kitchen leads to a panoramic veranda and a balcony overlooking the surrounding landscape.
In winter, the house is heated by a traditional wood-burning stove. If you need extra firewood, it can be provided on-site for a small additional fee.
For the safety of young children, the stairs are equipped with a safety gate.

From the house, it’s easy to reach western Liguria with the beaches of Arma di Taggia and Sanremo, or to cross the border to the French Riviera. Nature lovers can set out on foot along the many hiking trails in the area, such as the picturesque Via Mezzana, which experienced mountain bikers can also ride.
