This beach house was lovely! Easy to book, easy to get into. Perfect view of the ocean from the porch and the main living space of the house. The place felt spacious, was stocked far beyond the bare minimum as far as linens, kitchenware, and even kids toys. Beach access for the neighborhood was RIGHT there. The grill outside needs replacing. I'm not sure if the outdoor shower doesn't work, or we just couldn't figure out how to MAKE it work - It could use some directions if that's the case. Two of the three bedrooms don't have windows, which to me is not ideal, but my husband said it let him have great sleep! The windowless bedrooms are the ONLY reason I MAY look for a different home if we choose to stay in Surfside again. Other than that oddity, it was a 10/10 experience. I would recommend the place to friends and family!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The property managers were very prompt in responses to questions during our stay. No windows in the queen bedrooms though. We didn't care for that. We would rent again however.

While the house is beachfront and has cute decor, our stay was deeply disappointing. Check-in was jarring, as an unannounced management/owner rep was there with Xfinity for post-storm wifi repairs. The only TV in the house was fried do to a power surge prior to our arrival. The repaired wifi was incredibly slow.Beyond the lack of privacy, we encountered multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues: Dirty Kitchen: The kitchen was not cleaned prior to arrival, with some dirty dishes left in drawers and cabinets. Leftover Trash: The downstairs area had trash from previous guests.Pests: Rats were seen running around the yard and pier area.Surprises: A blanket covered in Cheetos was left out, and a bug zapper was left plugged in on the kitchen counter.Maintenance & Amenities Broken Utilities: The outdoor shower was not functioning, and one refrigerator door would not close all the way.Plumbing Issues: The toilet backed up, but there was no plunger in the house.Missing Essentials: No kitchen towels or oven mitts were provided. We had to use a bathroom towel for cooking and baking. One bathroom didn't have a trash can.Bedrooms: Both queen rooms were without any windows. The bunkroom had a window but no curtains or blinds for privacy. Beds only had thin sheets instead of proper comforters or blankets.Safety Hazard: The outdoor trash bin was left sitting in a large puddle of water at the end of the driveway. Overall it felt unclean and not well maintained.
