The apartment was clean and well decorated. It is less than 15 minutes from downtown. This is a budget friendly apartment.
The window AC units keep the apartment cool and comfortable but they are loud and outdated. In order to prevent the apartment from getting too hot, they have to run 24/7.
The blinds were crooked, bent and about to fall down from the window in the first bedroom.
All of the doors are not secure. The main door has a code lock on the outside and you can lock the door from the inside but it can be pulled open (there is a plate covering the lock of the door but the door itself is not as secure as it needs to be).
There were no lights on in the staircase or the hallway. I had to use the flashlight from my cell phone to see where I was going and to open the door to the apartment. The door to the apartment was not secure. It only goes into the door frame about an inch (one good kick would easily breach the apartment). There was no secondary lock on the inside of the door to the apartment. The first bedroom door's lock was loose and about to fall off if you tried to lock the door from the inside. The neighborhood is not safe at night to walk outside or if you are coming in from a night out with friends. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. I spent one night and left the next day.
I did not like the presumption that I would be smoking, having parties or bringing a pet.
