Absolutely beautiful property. It's one of those places you walk into and immediately relax, full of character, gorgeous rooms and a real sense of space throughout.
The garden is huge and genuinely special, with the river running along the bottom of it. We spent far more time out there than we expected. The hot tub was the highlight of the whole trip, brilliant in the evenings once it got dark and easily the thing everyone talked about most.
Inside is just as good. Lovely living space to gather in, a proper kitchen for cooking together, and the cinema room was perfect for winding down at the end of the day.
The location is spot on too. A short walk into Hertford with plenty nearby, and free parking on site made life easy.
Would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere special for a group. We'd come back in a heartbeat.
