An exquisitely finished, outstanding retreat in Udawalawe. They organized our safari, and the service was impeccable.
All rooms face the river. It is truly a hidden paradise. Highly recommended.

Superb accommodation, with fab self-contained rooms by the river. Loved the outdoor shower and the hammocks and the excellent food. The owner went out of his way to help us with a change of booking and cooked an amazing meal for us on our night there.

We loved our stay at Atha Safari Resort. The owner has carefully crafted the whole site to perfection, and was very kind and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, and the food was plentiful home cooked fare. We enjoyed lying in the hammocks watching the moneys swinging through the trees.
A proper window in the cabin to allow natural light would make it a much nicer place to be during the day when you want a moment out of the heat.

Great communication with Asanka. He organised our safari and also our transport from Tangalle and onward to Ella after our stay. Safari was good with sightings of elephant families in the lake, monkeys and numerous bird species.
Rustic cabins on the river.
Not close to the town. WiFi intermittent. Room very dark.
