The location was extremely close to volcanoes national Park. It was very quiet, spacious, extremely clean. There’s a private gate that you go through to get to the property so it felt extremely safe and secure. There were birds and flowers in the trees. It was so beautiful. It truly exceeded my expectations.

The rental was in a separate building which was nice and private. It was spacious and comfortable. The sounds of nature at night were unbelievable and exceeded expectations. If you've never heard frogs at night this is the place for you!
The location was remote and isolated - it might be difficult to locate in the dark although the entrance does have reflectors to help identify it. A private trail around the property might help add to experience and give guests something to do on site.

Close to Volcano National park, comfortable bed, overall clear explanation for arrival
No blackout curtains on all windows, quite noisy fridge and water filter machine that we had to unplug for the night, no explanation on how to lock the door when leaving the room.

Nice separate building with all the amenities and a very comfortable bed and a very private and quiet balcony. Clean room and bathroom. Filtered water. Just 15 min to Volcanos park entrance. There is a convenience store close by that also sells hot breakfast and lunch.
The access road leading to the property from the main road was not paved and pretty uneven. In fact, even with my Mazda CX50, I was worried that the bottom of the car might hit the ground in some uneven portions. So, I had to drive very carefully on that access road. I was glad that I did not rent a sedan. Also, some of the keys in the keypad of the gate opener on the access road did not work properly when we were trying to get out of the property with our car.
