Super acceuil! Le gérant est très sympa.
Nous avons pris une chambre pour deux et nous en avons eu une pour trois avec un grand lit et un petit lit. Lit confortable, chambre côté jardin, très calme. Top! Quartier sultanemet, proche du vieux centre ville. Quartier avec beaucoup d’offre de logement et celui la étais très bien !

The location is terrific for Istanbul, and allows you to walk pretty much everywhere in the area near Hayasofia / Blue Mosque. The room was clean and practical, and just above a superb restaurant for traditional Turkish grill at great prices - though noise was definitely not an issue.
Above all, the service was amazing - Ferit was super attentive and made sure our stay was as good as it could be, always available via WhatsApp and accommodating for our needs, such as leaving our rucksacks in their travel agency rooms so we could explore the city for an extra day.
Hardly any to say, so one really minor thing (which I'm sure they'd accommodate): the pillows in our particular room were a little bit big if you prefer thin ones. Overall, the price is incredibly fair for what you get - it's a perfectly fine place to stay and sleep and use as a base to explore.

We had a very positive stay at Walkabout Apart, mainly because of the fantastic staff who run the property. The location is excellent — just around a 5-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, in a lovely area with plenty of restaurants, a hypermarket, laundry services and everything else you might need nearby.
We arrived quite late, around 11pm, and the staff from the travel agency below the property were waiting patiently for us beyond their usual closing time. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and gave us useful advice throughout our stay.
The apartment we originally booked was more of a budget option but that was expected given the conpetetive price which was great value for Istanbul at this time of year. It was clean enough and had useful basics like a working fridge, hot water, disposable slippers and fresh towels, but it was a little cramped for four people. The bathroom door also did not lock, which was a bit inconvenient. Our main issue was the air conditioning: one unit was very weak and the other was not working, so our first night was uncomfortable.
However, what really impressed us was how quickly and professionally the staff dealt with the problem. Because it was peak season and AC repairs were in high demand, they promptly moved us to the apartment next door, which was essentially two boutique-style apartments. These were very clean, had good air conditioning, comfortable beds, good-sized fridges, fresh towels and slippers, and made the rest of our stay much more comfortable.
The staff are a real credit to the property. They were helpful throughout, including storing our luggage on the final day. Overall, this is a great option if you want a fantastic location in Sultanahmet with genuinely kind and helpful people looking after you.
Small apartment. Bathroom door doesn't lock. Hopefully the AC issues had been resolved now.

A szállás jó helyen van. A főbb látványosságok séta-távolságra találhatók. A közelben sok bolt, étterem. A tisztasága megfelelő. A szállásadó nagyon kedves, segítőkész. Isztanbul varázslatos város!
A szállás nagyon- nagyon BASIC! Aki egy kicsit is igényes, annak nem ajánlom! Aki megelégszik azzal, hogy van hol aludnia és tisztálkodni; és nem akar nagy költségvetésű utazást, annak megfelel.
