Breakfast was fine
There was a band that spoilt the whole experience. We were warned, which was great. But we were told that the band would stop at 10pm but it went until 11.30. It was for the wedding that we attended so couldn’t really complain

The room was beautifully decorated and very welcoming.
Bed was comfortable.
Location for walking around Oatlands.
We understood there was a restaurant there when we booked, and only afterwards did we get a message to tell us that there is no one there on Tuesdays - so had to enter with a code, and that it was unlikely any restaurants would be open in Oatlands. They made a kitchenette available for heating up food. So we bought a couple of prepackaged foods from the local supermarket and ate it in our room, sitting on the bed. We saw no-one the entire time, though were woken by someone entering another room at 11.30pm.
If we had known there would be no contact with staff and no restaurant, we would have booked an airBnB -it wasn’t the “hotel” experience we were expecting.
