Disappointing

The location near the train station was good. This was a nice neighborhood and there was a grocery store two blocks away.

The apartment was very small, and the stairs were extremely narrow. You could not carry a suitcase beside you while climbing the stairs; you had to carry it either in front of you or behind you. The apartment was also inadequately stocked with towels. When we arrived Friday night, there was only one bath towel and two hand towels for our stay. We called the phone number provided with the booking, but it was out of service. I sent an email to the property. I received a response telling me to look in the bathroom. I had already checked, but I checked again, and there were no additional towels. On Saturday, the property asked when we would be back at the apartment. I provided that information, and they said they would arrange for Instacart to deliver towels. By Sunday, no towels had arrived, so I emailed them again. They responded that they would look into it. That was the last we heard from them. We left on Wednesday and had to make do with the towels provided when we arrived. Accessing the washer and dryer was also inconvenient. To reach them, we had to go into the backyard and open two ground-level storm doors. We then had to walk down several stairs to the basement, with no handrails. The washer and dryer themselves were adequate, but the dryer vented into the basement, making it take a long time for clothes to dry. We also had to leave the doors open for ventilation. I have attached pictures to document these conditions. Overall, the apartment had several inconveniences, and the failure to deliver the promised towels or follow up on our request was particularly disappointing.

I would definitely stay here again if I need to stay near Union Station

Good location and privacy, quiet, comfortable bed, kitchen in good shape, cute neighborhood, small market across the street is super convenient and has good food.

Bathroom is fine, but small and needs some renovation to match the quality of the rest of the apartment. Missing tissues and minimal toilet paper provided.
