Whare Iti is a warm and comfortable home. Being winter, I especially appreciated the gas fireplace in the living room and heat pump in the bedroom. The host has thought of everything guests might need both in amenities in the home and in the online guest information which was very helpful and clear. Robert St reserve is within walking distance, as are the shops and eateries on Wood St. The Mangawhai Heads Beach and Langs Beach are nearby and are firm favourites with the dogs, and they quite like the warm outdoor shower after a swim. After a long walk, a good night’s sleep is assured in this quiet and safe neighbourhood.
A couple of minor home maintenance issues, to which the host was quick to respond to and we coordinated an acceptable solution.

The property was clean with good facilities. Excellent location with walkway to the beach. Cozy, well designed interiors with the sweet bonus of Bennett’s chocolate. Great attention to detail with well designed interiors.
The TV was hard to navigate. Had no kitchen paper towels and had no extra box of face tissues in the bathroom.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, stylish home, with lovely indoor/outdoor glow and great attention to detail. Fantastically convenient location, and felt very private.
Nothing. My picky parents wished there were two bathrooms!
