The view is amazing! Nice and quiet atmosphere and breakfast was superb
When you shower the whole entire bathroom gets wet due to the design.

Great views of the Doi Luang Chiang Dao. Typical Thai breakfast, which was just what we needed. Fried rice, couple of eggs, and some soup. Our host made breakfast and dropped it off on the patio for us to eat. She usually sets up breakfast down by her magnificent dragon. That's right, a dragon. She also has a toaster for bread and a great Nespresso coffee machine. Perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. Very quiet and peaceful! Surprisingly soft comfy beds. Five years here in Thailand, and I've gotten used to a firm bed, but WOW was this bed soft and cozy! Huge plus!
Honestly everything was perfect. We had a minor hiccup when we booked a suite with three beds, but didn't mention to the host that we had three people coming instead of two. No biggie, she just asked if our third wanted breakfast for a small fee. Nothing worth fussing over! Bathtub wasn't as hot as it could have been, but no worries, just use the kettle to boil up a few pots of hot water and you'll be set! Will definitely be coming back.

The location was excellent Ban Tham is very convenient to all of the nature activities Chiang Dao has to offer
Unfortunately the power and water did not work when we checked in and was not restored until after sunset- it was a hot day and the room was not usable.
The bathtub (a hallmark feature of the space and the reason we booked) was not fixed until we were checking out:(
