Très confortable cabane avec tout le confort nécessaire. Lit très confortable. Très propre. Petite terrasse dehors. Loin des voisins (autres cabanes et caravanes)
La cabane est à 50 mètres d'une route nationale ou les véhicules passent sans arrêt sauf entre 0h et 6h du matin ou ça se calme un peu.
Dommage car la cabane est au top !

A lovely cosy cabin, very comfortable.
Outside our cabin were two chairs but not a paved area to sit, that would have been nice and an outside table.
Just a suggestion, not a criticism.

The hut was exceptionally clean, with a well equipped kitchen and nice layout. The site it is situated on was pleasant and is well situated for Stratford as well as being only a short walk away from Snitterfield. We were greeted upon arrival and checking in was nice and easy. The hut is also dog friendly which was great for us, but please note the decking area is not secure for dogs.
I hesitated to write this review because I do not like to give negative feedback publicly, especially when it is clear that much effort has been put into making the shepherd huts a nice place to stay. I always reach out to the hosts directly if we have an issue, but having messaged and received no response in three weeks I feel it is only fair to express our experience.
When we arrived at the hut we were unlucky to have been travelling on a very hot day, about 27/8 degrees. We were greeted at the hut by the host and upon entering it was clear that the hut had not had windows or doors opened all day, so to say it was boiling inside is an understatement. The host commented on the heat of the hut, but said they’d left a fan. The fan itself was tiny and did not make any difference to the heat inside. We had luckily packed a tower fan in the car with us to air out the hut a little more, but even with all the doors and windows being open for several hours and both fans on, the hut was unbearably warm to the point of it being dangerous. We had to sit outside of the hut until midnight because it was simply too warm to be safely inside and given that we were travelling with our dog this gave us extra concern. We had to sleep with all the windows and half the barn door wide open all night to safely sleep, and even then it was unbearable. This was added to by the fact that the site is next to a main road and under a flight path so with all windows and door open it was very loud; there are also no bug nets or voile/net curtains at the windows so of course by the morning the hut was full of bugs. Either the humidity or a fault with the device also caused the extractor fan to run on full all night, despite us turning it off at the wall.
It sounds pedantic to complain about heat, but honestly I have never experienced anything like this it was genuinely like being in a sauna for the evening.
