Firstly, the apartment was clean and modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. Views from the property are beautiful.
The location isn’t the best if in terms of there is nothing around really in regards of amenities. Amalfi is a 40 minute walk along a dangerous road and the bus isn’t the most reliable especially on a Sunday. Also, a taxi back from Amalfi (a ten minute drive) is €60 and the buses stop at 10pm.
The “private valet parking” is some young teenager on a moped who takes your car, who knows where they park it and you can only access it once a day and you have to be back by 10pm. Also, at the end of your stay they demand €35 a day for the pleasure, not €28 which was advertised in the booking and they just say “it’s changed”
Not sure how this works with your rental car insurance either and I’d be interested to know where the car was left.
The property itself had a few tiny issues, there was an iron, but no ironing board and around the grounds had several parts that could have done with being cleaned up a little. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this apartment and I’d spend the extra payment you spend on parking and taxis and stay closer to Amalfi, Ravello or Positano.
