Welcome to Stagford Barn, a brand-new two-bedroom retreat just 10 minutes from Taupō town centre and the shores of Lake Taupō. While its name hints at rustic charm, this private unit is fully modern, stylish, and designed with your comfort in mind.
Set within a semi-rural lifestyle property, the unit offers peace and privacy while still being close to everything you need. Your friendly hosts reside in the main dwelling nearby, but with years of experience managing guest accommodation and glowing reviews from past visitors, you can rest assured that your stay will be both relaxed and private.
Two comfortable bedrooms and one modern bathroom.
Fully self-contained with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry (washing machine included). Expansive sun-drenched deck with BBQ for outdoor dining.
Private hot-tub– the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.
Plenty of parking right at your door.
Just 4 minutes up the Napier–Taupō Highway, you’ll find easy access to conveniences including Z Service Station, Popeyes, Burger King, Starbucks, Subway, a French bakery, and a French café – with a McDonald’s opening soon. Yet despite the convenience, the only sounds likely to interrupt your peace are the gentle calls of chickens, sheep, or cows from the surrounding farmland.
You may also be greeted by a well-behaved dog and a friendly cat who share the property. They are much-loved pets who keep to themselves but are always happy to say hello.
Enjoy stunning views of Mt Tauhara and rolling rural landscapes, soak up the sun from morning through noon, and take advantage of the property’s space and tranquility.

*If you require the 2x Single beds to be made as a King, you must let us know at least 5 days prior to arrival.

Parking: 2 x off street parking, including boat parking. There is no guest access to a garage.
Security Cameras: There are external cameras set up at the front and rear of the property for security purposes.
Linen included – we are a holiday home management company who provide hotel-quality, professionally laundered linen & towels.
Cleaning – exit clean included in nightly rate.
STRICTLY no parties, events or loud groups. Neighbours are very close and are to be respected at all times.
*There are pets that reside at this property - 1 x friendly dog and 1 x friendly cat*
