It is a tiny cottage, so you come almost directly into the sitting room, and the stairs are very steep, both to the bedrooms and to the garden area. You do need to accompany the dogs to the garden to prevent them going into the neighbours garden on the way up the steps. Also it is old, so there are damp patches but that is expected

We paid £1,380.47for our stay and, unfortunately, the property fell considerably short of the standard we expected from both the listing and, in particular, the description of the property as “Luxury”. There were multiple issues during our stay, some of which were concerning and significantly affected our experience. I have photographs available to support a number of the issues outlined below. Incorrect property address - The property is listed as being at "15 Saint Andrew's Place", whereas the property is actually located on "Saint Andrew's Street". Mobile phone signal in the area was extremely poor, which I appreciate is not the property's fault. However, because of this, the What3Words location was not usable as an alternative. Having the correct street name on the booking information would therefore have been particularly important when trying to locate the property. Strong damp smell and visible signs of damp - Immediately upon entering the property, there was a "very strong and overpowering smell of damp". There were also visible signs of what appeared to be damp within the property, including: * Paint/plaster peeling and missing from the bottom of the stairs. * Noticeable damp/mould-type marking between the television and fireplace. * Other areas which appeared affected by moisture. I have photographs of these areas. This was particularly disappointing given that the property is marketed as a luxury cottage. Heating - We were unable to use the heating during our stay because we were not provided with the PIN code for the Nest heating control. Given that heating is a basic facility that guests should reasonably expect to be able to operate, this was particularly disappointing. We should not have been left without access to the heating system because the necessary information had not been provided. Log burner / fireplace - The pre-arrival information stated that logs were provided.

Location was amazing, rooftop garden beautiful for an evening drink. Nice place, used the kayak.

Parking problematic at times, the only place to park is the public car park which is located just a short walk away but in the height of summer it is full all the time. You have to wait for a space to come up. To be fair we didn’t have to wait long but it’s a busy area and you have to time your trips.
