Good location. Welcoming pub. Private car park. Large comfortable room. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. We arrived late at 10pm and Karen was very obliging.

We stayed in the twin bed room and, although small, it was clean and fresh with all you need for a short stay. Very comfortable beds, plentiful hot water for a shower or bath, a kettle with tea bags, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious! It is served in an attractive room adjacent to the pub. Thank you to Karen for an enjoyable stay
We ate dinner in the pub both nights because there is nowhere else to eat out in the village. The main course food was ok, not great and we felt it was overpriced. However the homemade apple crumble was delicious!

The room met our needs perfectly. Clean, comfortable, everything needed for a short stay. I fell asleep without issue every night so bed must have been comfortable, room noise and temperature all good. Also, nice to have a bath for a soak after a long day.
Very minor gripes but squeaky floorboard and toilet sometimes took 2 to 3 flushes.
