La responsable de l’hôtel est super gentille et parle français. Elle propose à la location des scooters tout neufs à des prix très raisonnables. Les chambres sont un peu dans leur jus, mais la literie est très confortable et la climatisation fonctionne super bien.

Lit très confortable, chambre spacieuse et propre, petit frigo, salle de bain avec l’équipement nécessaire ainsi que de l’eau chaude. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour et nous recommandons cet établissement. Le personnel est très gentil et est à l’écoute.

Hostel is in a good location and the staff were very sweet.
Comfortable bed.
Sadly though, overall the stay was far below what we hoped.
The pictures look bright and fresh but our room felt dank, dark and grim (apart from the sterile, cold lights). Although the bed was comfortable, the sheets felt like they had been cleaned but then maybe got dusty or something. There was mould (in the room and in the strange, semi abandonded common kitchen) and it just had that kind of damp and grimey feeling.
I totally appreciate that the standard in Laos may not be as high as neighbouring countries but we'd come from further south in the country where although accommodation was basic, it was clean and cheery.
I'm not sure if the property was undergoing some sort of change/renovation because there were some signs excusing noise, but the overall vibe was also strange and a bit bleak.
I hope they can get things heavily revamped and improved over the wet/low season.
