Très cosy, j’étais seul pour chercher des logements sur place, mais avec la canicule j’ai fini par passer beaucoup de temps dedans !

The location is terrific, only about 100 metres from Marseille railway station (from the 5th floor flat, you look across at the station on the same level) and close to a whole range of eating options. Also in comfortable walking distance of the old port. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen corner and a small balcony. There is a fair-sized lift though it is reached by a small flight of steps from the street door. Talking of steps, the considerable height difference from station level to the street door can be neatly handled by going into the metro system entrance and using its escalators without actually going through the barriers to the metro itself.
I had trouble understanding the instructions for entering the building because the design of the interphone was one I had never seen before. However, the owner was immediately available on the phone and we talked through the problem (and I have offered the owner a text in English to explain this issue). Also a problem I feel I should mention is the tiny space into which the toilet has been squeezed in order to ensure the shower is roomy enough. I do not consider myself fat but my buttocks were touching the wall and the shower glass at the same time!

J'ai apprécié l'amabilité de l'hôte très à l'écoute qui répond avec gentillesse à toutes les questions. Le studio ne manque de rien .
L'immeuble est très vétuste et le voisinage fort particulier : drogue et sdf. Impossible de sortir le soir, seule.

La struttura si trova in una posizione molto comoda, vicinissima alla stazione principale di Marsiglia, a circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro. La stanza è piccolina ma comoda e con tutto il necessario per un breve soggiorno. In generale al qualità non era eccezionale ma era in linea con il prezzo pagato. L'host molto disponibile e veloce a rispondere, ho avuto un paio di problemi per recuperare la chiave e mi ha aiutato immediatamente. La cucina seppur piccola ha tutto il necessario e di più.
Il bagno è molto piccolo, in particolare la tazza è quasi inutilizzabile. La porta si apre con fatica e nella stanza manca un vero armadio. La cassettiera presente all'arrivo era già piena di prodotti per la pulizia, coperte e asciugamani extra, e manuali di istruzioni di tutti gli elettrodomestici. Tutte cose essenziali e molto utili, ma se si decide di fermarsi più di 2 giorni la mancanza di un armadio si fa sentire.
