Very handy to all amenities
It took us an hour to find the place. No where did we see a sign darwin budget units. We were stressed and luckily people on the street helped with their phones. In the end we went across the road to a hotel and the man found the room for us. The room was good but the sheets were worn

The locked box was clearly indicated and the instructions to the property were straightforward. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. The location was central to what we needed for the night. The room was priced appropriately.
The property had a broken gate and the doors to access the units themselves had broken swipe access. This posed a massive security risk as all night we had doors banging, arguments and people screaming. When we initially arrived at the property a crack head scaled the fence and landed on the pavement next to us and hobbled away. Having never been to Darwin before I can definitively say that the local wildlife is quite diverse. I don't know if the whole of Darwin is like this or we just stayed in a dodgy area but I can't say I reccommend this place if you want a good night's sleep.
