Our 4 nights in Lijiang was perfect staying in this hotel. The location is ideal, the room and services offered were excellent, all thanks to Mr Li the hotel manager. He ensured we had a hassle free stay from the moment we touched down at the airport. He arranged for our airport transfers, suggested us all the good places for sightseeing, shopping and experiences. He even helped us buy boxes and boxes of the famous Yunnan flower cakes that are so delicious. Mr Li just made sure that our every needs are fulfilled, from food to transport to our comfort. He is also very knowledgeable. We are so happy that we chose Leye Luxe Retreat for our accommodation in Lijiang.

Incredible location, the included breakfast and daily tea times added amazing value to the experience. The staff was very friendly towards foreign tourists such as us. The manager booked our transportation to and from our hike/visit to tiger leaping gorge and halfway guest house.
Wonderful charming atmosphere with perfect modern comforts just steps away from some of the best food and tea Yunnan has to offer! You get to experience the peaceful early mornings and bustling late nights of the Lijiang Old Town.
This is where we’ll stay next time we visit Lijiang.
Foreigners may struggle to locate the building. It’s on the northeast side of the “Big Water Wheel” behind the food court. which is easier to navigate to with western navigation apps.
