Breakfast was reasonable, noting no bacon served.
Some areas recquire redecoration. It is clearly an old hotel now resurrected.
The hot water temperature is set too low. Happy with the principle of energy saving but just too much.
Service in the lounge / bar area was not at the required standard. Closing the bar at 11pm on a Saturday evening (particularly with a lounge full of celebrating rugby supporters) seems counter-intuitive.

Excellent value for money. Beautiful room that was spacious and well-equipped. Very good location.
Some aspects of the stay did not match up to five-star expectations, e.g., staff service, lighting in the room, breakfast, parking experience.
