The owner is nice and friendly. He helped me to get location before we arrive and cleaned the path road after a light snow in the morning.
There's no kitchen here, and even using the microwave and make coffee or hot water causes the circuit breaker which has caused some inconvenience. I reported the situation to the landlord before we leave and got a message later he said he solved this issue.

Location is exceptional. I was needing a quiet spot to do some reflecting and this was the spot. Japanese Tea Room was the best surprise. No TV made it even better. Hosts were on property and available but I had complete privacy and access to back yard. This is not your normal getaway but exceptional for peace and quiet. 10 Zen!
Entry Dining room might benefit by being a traditional "den" as there are no cooking facilities except microwave, so it seems like a wasted room. I loved the Tea Room but would have liked a comfy chair to kick back and do some reading in. Two sofas are traditional Japanese and extremely comfortable but maybe too formal for some. Recessed lighting was too bright.
Overall a great stay!
