I’ve stayed in many luxury hotels, and I’ve learned that true excellence is not defined by design or facilities, but by how you are treated. HUUS QUELL understands this perfectly. From arrival, everything felt effortless. Check-in was warm, smooth, and genuinely welcoming. The staff consistently operated with a simple mindset: we’ll make it work and they did. They secured a fully booked restaurant table, adjusted my massage after I returned late from a hike, and arranged a late checkout without hesitation. Small gestures individually, but together they reflect an exceptional standard of service. The most memorable moment came after checkout. I had left my work phone behind and only noticed 20–30 minutes later. Instead of asking me to return, a staff member personally drove it to me still smiling, still kind and even brought a small gift from the hotel. That level of care is rare. The hotel itself is beautifully rooted in its environment. Rather than generic luxury, it embraces Swiss materials and Appenzell craftsmanship, creating interiors that feel warm, natural, and full of character. The lobby, with its sculptural wooden centerpiece, immediately sets the tone: this is a place designed with intention, not imitation. My room was quiet, comfortable, and designed for rest, but the real highlight was the view: uninterrupted green Appenzell landscapes framed by mountains the kind of view that instantly slows you down. Breakfast reinforces the sense of place, with a strong focus on regional produce fresh dairy, local bread, and ingredients that feel directly connected to the surrounding farms and villages. It feels authentic rather than curated. The QUELL SPA is a standout experience. Spread across multiple levels, it offers a wide variety of pools, saunas, and quiet relaxation spaces. The rooftop infinity pool overlooking the mountains is particularly unforgettable, a place where time genuinely disappears.

Sehr gut, für mich besser ein Buffet.

Mussten noch für die Tiefgarage einen Platz bezahlen, besser im Preis dazurechnen.
