Building was modern and overall clean. Had a lovely outdoor inner courtyard on the first floor, along with a small play area and grilling area. Security staff went above and beyond to help with things they did not have to help with. The A/C was very effective. Nice view of the surrounding area (7th floor). Owner was responsive to general inquiries on day of arrival but did not address anything (super non-critical items) except when there was a problem in the bathroom. Then they got it resolved the same day, so that was good! Excellent closet organizers with loads of space (& now hangers since we left them behind). Appreciated having a washer/dryer in the unit & it was easy to keep the place clean. Tons of pillows to make the beds comfortable and towels were big and absorbent. Internet was great as long as it was connected; would drop/freeze at random times without notice throughout the day - never for long but could be disruptive to calls or online work. a quiet building in a fairly quiet neighborhood, even on the weekends. The parque was only two blocks away and a great place to go hang out and people watch as a break from the apartment. The building had secured parking under it and 24-hour security, which was great.
This apartment has no space for remote work at all, so if that's what you're looking for, I would not recommend this unit. No desk or desk chair. There wasn't really a comfortable place to sit and just relax; three backless stools for the kitchen counter, two living area side chairs (hard) and a couch cushion that kept sliding out from under us when we wanted to watch a movie (it is a foldable hide-a-bed). Location ended up not being near the places and people we were there to see, but we didn't know that at time of booking. Only 1 quick shop & 1 restaurant nearby; otherwise, it was about 4 blocks to get to streets with more shops and restaurants. This is not an area where a person visiting necessarily wants to walk around much at night (so we were told by our local friends). The apartment was very clean when we arrived, except the glass shower doors were clearly not cleaned in a very long time (easily remedied, but very surprising given how clean the rest of the place was).
