The actual apartment was spotless and had everything we needed apart from a baking tray (bought a cheap one). Beds were also extremely comfortable. I stayed 5 nights with my 10-year-old son and he felt at home here. It was easy enough to adjust the heating, connect to the wifi, find the iron etc., although I do wish there had been a full length mirror.
I did also want to to point out that there was no issue with any noise or smell from the apartment below and actually the gentleman there helped me when I had issues accessing the key box (I had put the wrong code and was struggling with an impatient child and pouring down rain). I had read previous reviews that had some negativity but this was not the case AT ALL with my stay and would stay here again.
Parking is down the street (£10 for 24 hours and keep renewing each day, or use appy parking+ app to do a continuous charge). There was on street parking overnight or for a couple of hours with a disk each day if I needed to be closer to load luggage. If you arrived by train or bus then this is still a very convenient location as both are easy to walk to, as is the town centre.
The steep stairs with a suitcase - really not that bad but had to ask my brother for help to leave. I also had to put the diffusers and air fresheners into a cupboard until I left as they were giving me itchy eyes but this is not an 'everyone' problem!
The other issue I had was that, as a woman staying with a child alone, I did not feel 100% secure as the main door that gives access to the flat and the flat below was always left slightly ajar as was not provided a key for this. I had ordered takeaway and the driver came all the way up the stairs to the flat door which made me a little uncomfortable.

Very spacious- warm, central to everywhere, exceptionally clean, quiet, parking on the road was good.
Not sufficient kitchen equipment. No knives to cut anything eg slice a loaf of bread or cut vegetables. Would benefit from a colander or sieve.
The shower cubicles are far too small. My husband and I are slim but many of the population are not and they would not fit in the shower areas.

Very impressed and happy with the location / parking and the place was perfect just wish we could have stayed longer to use it more x would definitely recommend
