The key was left in the door for us, though the host greeted us anyway. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable with everything we needed. The route in from the autroute was beautiful and we got to see something of Heidelberg and the Neckar valley. The location was not the easiest to find and we definitely needed the satnav. It was lovely and quiet, but we didn't find lots of local amenities and back-tracked several Km to find a supermarket.
All the instructions were only in German and an English translation would have been nice. There was a lot of changes in level between nearly every room - only a cm of so, but we left a light on overnight to navigate our way around. Not really a problem. As an overnight stop it was good.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Es war alles an Küchenutensilien vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Sowohl die Unterkunft als auch der Ort Hirschhorn sind ideal, wenn man ein bisschen Ruhe genießen möchte. Das Schloss war auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Wir kamen nachts um 22:00 mit einem Kleinkind an. Für unsere Gastgeber war das aber überhaupt kein Problem. Sie haben uns noch beim auspacken aus dem Auto geholfen. Jafar und Maliheh hatten dann für unseren kleinen Lionel (3 Jahre) sogar noch ein großes Kinderpuzzel als Geschenk. Was der Kleine auch unbedingt noch ausprobieren wollte, obwohl er völlig übermüdet war. Nach unserer Abreise bemerkte ich, das ich meine elektrische Zahnbürste liegen gelassen hatte. Das hatten die beiden auch schon bemerkt und schickten sie mir kostenlos mit der Post an meine Adresse nach Berlin. Darüber habe ich mich sehr gefreut. VIELEN, VIELEN DANK FÜR DIESE WUNDERBAREN STUNDEN BEI EUCH!
