We were only here for a short one night stay following a wedding, but it was very clean and in a perfect location from the venue.

Beautifully styled property. Absolutely loved the vibe. Beds were comfortable and quality bedding. Pub opposite was handy. Excellent value for the price. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen.
There was no coffee or milk like i've had in similar stays and no local shops to get any. At 1am an alarm went off waking us all up including our 6yr old which wasnt fun! It turned out to be a radio alarm in the kitchen downstairs. The top bedroom was quite hot, so a fan would have been great. Wish we knew about the breakfast hamper we would have 100% requested this if we knew. Wifi barely worked and had little signal so tricky to research the area once there.

Clean and comfortable set in a pleasant location with 2 close at hand pubs and restaurants with 1 inclusive cafe.
Goodrich castle is fantastic.
No local shops to buy basic groceries,the nearest was 1 hour round trip walking to Whitchurch and that was very limited in goods for sale.
Food from pubs ranged from normal to high for value for money.
The exception being the inclusive cafe as breakfast freshly cooked and generous.
Public transport is non-existent.
So called public right of ways overgrown and not maintained.
The so-called cycle route to Whitchurch ran alongside a dual carriageway and part of it involved you having to walk on the side of the road as there was no pathway.
Literally nothing in Goodrich,where the snug is located.
Driving is essential.
Parking is easy.
Buy your groceries local to where you live and bring them when you stay.
Unless you are rich,then just use Cross keys inn opposite.
