Good base location for the places I wanted to visit (York, Skipton, Grassmere, Bolton Abbey, Knaresborough) Also found the bonus of Shipley Glen which is a really lovely local walk just half an hour from the accommodation and the Salts Mill Gallery in Saltire - a 10 minute walk. Nice quiet room and comfortable bed. Host was friendly, welcoming and kind.
Not that close to the station but not an issue for someone who has good walking habits.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the location for visiting Saltaire was excellent. The host was welcoming without being intrusive - it's her home.
The building was quite difficult to find - it's in an old mill, which is lovely, but it's at the back and the name of the mill is different at the front of the building.

The room was modern and clean with a well appointed bathroom and comfortable bed. There’s a good kitchen and a lounge area with comfortable sofa and chairs. The owner lives in the apartment and is friendly and really helpful. Only a short walk along the canal to the historical Saltaire.
