The property is in an older part of Waxahachie. Very quiet, except it’s next to railroad tracks. At first I thought that might be a problem; however, I found myself smiling every time a train would go by. It never woke me up. This house is extremely clean and put together. The host was quick to communicate. Only a short drive to downtown and to the major thoroughfare for shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this place

The house is clean and in a great location to downtown Waxahachie. Everything we needed was provided. The property is right next to a train track. I know the train tracks are listed in the description but I feel it is important to mention that the tracks are very close to the house and the trains ran every night at midnight and early in the mornings.

Overall, we had a good stay. The house was very clean and well-maintained, and the host was extremely easy to work with and responsive throughout our visit.One thing future guests should be aware of is the train. The listing mentions that the property is near the train tracks, but it doesn't fully convey that the intersection/crossing is essentially right at the driveway. They are required to alarm or blow the horn because of this. Trains run 24/7, approximately every 45 minutes to an hour, including overnight. The host does provide earplugs, which was appreciated, but light sleepers may want to consider this before booking.The memory foam mattress was comfortable and made for a good night's sleep when the trains weren't passing by.A couple of small additions that would make the kitchen even better would be a toaster and a pizza pan.Overall, the home was clean, comfortable, and hosted by someone who was great to work with.
