We had a very nice time staying at Torre Mar. It was very conveniently located. We were 5 families...me (the mom) and my 4 kids, their spouses and 6 grandkids. Everyone had their own "suite". The advertising is a little confusing. I thought we were renting a "home", and then realized it was an apartment/hotel....but as I said, it was very nice for each family to have private space. The owner John was very friendly, although we did have some miscommunication issues, which is interesting since I speak fluent Spanish, and he speaks pretty fluent English. He comes on a little strong at times when we either asked for something or at the end when he told us the rooms were "filthy". Having spent a full week there, the rooms were well used by the different families, but nothing had been tampered with or damaged. We did break 1 glass which I offered to pay for. That would be my only reason for not giving Torre Mar a full 5 star review.
